Last week: Steady faithfulness in loving people and Truth. Each local church of Jesus Christ should desire this from her leaders and members. But today there's more. Shall we call each other to live recklessly, radically? How's that look on Monday mornings? Let's reason together (Isaiah 1:18) and remember Jesus' warning: we should be careful how we listen (Luke 8:18).

What Now?

Open the Eyes of Our Hearts

Like us (too often!), Jesus' faithful disciples were often quite faithless.  In today's text the resurrected Lord visits with two of his distraught followers.  As a result, the eyes of their hearts are enlightened (Eph. 1.18).  What about ours?  Let's reason together (Isaiah 1:18) and remember Jesus' warning: we should be careful how we listen (Luke 8:18).

How Jesus Died
